The library is offering charcoal sketching classes by Patrick and looking for NUDE models. They will pay $100.00 to models and charge $10.00 per class to learn how to sketch. Time will be Mondays 11 – 1:00 before the library opens to the public.
This is not closed to only seniors, it is open to the public to participate in both modelling and classes.

We had a very informative meeting this morning. Two housing meetings we should be aware of.

Join in public conversation on seniors housing, aging in place and community needs in Terrace and the Northwest.
This session will explore local housing needs, service gaps and housing options including homestay opportunities.
Learn about co-operative housing Thursday May 21, 2026 at 7:30 pm Terrace Sportsplex banquet room guest speaker

This introductory session is for anyone interested in learning what co-operative is and how it could support community housing
in Terrace and the Northwest.
These are free sessions to attend. Please come out and voice your opinions. We are still advocating for affordable senior housing. Let your voice count, mark your calendars to attend.

Our next free seniors luncheon is May 8th at the Efree Church 4640 Park Ave doors opening at 11 Bingo at Noon on the dot and lunch of Reuben Sandwich and assortment of side dishes (bring one to add if you like) will be served at 12:30. Entertainment to follow. If you are up to helping in the kitchen, serving or clean up after??? would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you are able.

Next week is a busy week, we have our monthly meeting on Tuesday, see below, and Friday is our Free Luncheon at the EFree Church corner of Park Ave and Sparks St. Theme is “Old Fashioned Valentine Lunch” Come dressed in 60’s era clothing. Prizes will be awarded to best dressed.

Information on a free clinic for seniors on Representation Agreements – a document that lets you name a trusted person to make health and personal care decisions if you are not able to.
The groups are small and are held at Laura Cochrane’s new law office at 4546 Lazelle Avenue (next door to the old Sidewalkers building).
Priority spaces in the pro bono clinics are for attendees aged 70 and older, or those supporting older family members.
Laura has a few spaces left for this Thursday (January 29th) at 3.00 pm which are available on a first-come, first-served basis by contacting her as follows:
